Lake Lawn Resort today announced a $4 million renovation of its major public spaces, including its meeting rooms, guest lobby, main restaurant and bar, all part of the resort's on-going $390 million redevelopment
The renovation, which will begin in early November, includes:
*Renovation of the guest lobby at the resort's entrance, including new carpeting, lighting and furnishings consistent with resort's upscale Lodge-style decor.
*Complete refurbishment of all of the resort's 32,000 square feet of meeting space, including the main ballroom and executive board rooms. The resort will invest more than $350,000 in technological upgrades, which includes WI-FI throughout all meeting spaces, state-of-the-art projectors and LCD televisions.
*Renovation of the Frontier Restaurant and Look Out Bar, including the addition of a new bar as part of the Frontier Restaurant, complete with an open view to the courtyard and shoreline of Lake Delavan.
"These improvements provide resort guests and local residents with added amenities and will be in line with the $35 million already invested in the resort," said Thomas Ruhs, CEO of Delavan Resort Holdings, the resort's owners. "With the new upgrades, we are well on our way to becoming the premier event and meeting destination in the Midwest."
The improvements are part of Lake Lawn's on-going renovation which has included the complete upscale renovation of 220 guest rooms. The resort is currently developing plans to construct luxury villas at the far eastern end of the property, along with a new 455-room hotel.
